"There boys, nothing but open fields and silver streams ahead until we reach the Stormhouse. But be sure to keep an eye on the horizon, for we are not the only ones travelling these lands. Giants, the Ydar, Children of Yddras, are known to hunt here. Remember the tales your fathers told you when you went too far into the woods? Of Giants and Beasts? Well, they're all true. Any little patch of trees might be hiding a ravenous Rooker, a Drakeling or a Rockcrabble. To fight one of those would be terrible, but you'd hear them coming a mile away, and arrows and blades would be enough to slay them. A Giant, on the other hand, dressed in the skins of fallen warriors and the furs of a thousand meals, armed with a boulder or a club the size of a tree would require at least a hundred arrows to slay. And we are but three men, with barely an ounce of muscle between us. Your only chance is to flee, to hide, to run for your life. And yes, a Giant can run too, do not underestimate their speed. But by splitting up, two of us might have a chance at least. So please, keep your eyes and ears open, for Giants are more cunning than you know, and not the dull creatures you might believe them to be. Even though they are huge, they can still hide, and you might not even hear them sneaking up behind you. One could even be hidden behind that rock there, waiting for a heedless group of travellers to wander by. Luckily, we are not heedless, are we boys? Now I hope I've not scared you too much, For—huh? What the f—?! RUUUUUN!!!"
