"They were the ones who found that Ea accepted grafts of all kinds, even of the evergreens of the north and the baobabs of the south. For Ea seems to be of primordial kind, an ancestor of all trees. Some outside of our forest have theorized that Ea is one of the oldest children of the Allfather, the First Tree, whose roots spread deep under Tumiun. Once these foreign grafts had become part of Ea, those curious Aiuo grafted the offering of their Aio onto the new branches. In that way the first Otherkin were concieved, and they carried on their backs strange Aio, in shapes not seen before."
